Healthy Schools Mark:
I am very pleased to report that our school has achieved the Healthy
Schools Mark, which recognises the many aspects of work
that we do with children to support their health and well being. A big thank
you goes to Mrs Bowkett who put together all the evidence that was needed to
achieve this award.
Year
4 Residential Trip to The Beacon Centre was fantastic. The centre was well equipped; the food was
delicious; the instructors were well trained and fun to work with; the weather
was kind; and the children were brilliant.
They were willing to try all the new activities, they challenged
themselves, they made new friends and their behaviour & manners were
excellent. Mrs Wright and I really
enjoyed the trip and we were so impressed with the centre that we have booked
it for next year.
Ms Hare was really pleased with her Year 3’s who
enjoyed their activities last week and were also very well behaved and a
pleasure to be with.

Cheddar
Cluster Community Learning Partnership: Our school is part of the Cheddar
Cluster/CLP. This consists of a group of schools working together in order to
extend the range of learning opportunities. On behalf of Cheddar Cluster we
enclose a questionnaire which we would be grateful if you could fill in as much
as you can and return it to the school asap. Cheddar
CLP is hoping to assist with the improvement of local facilities /activities
which will benefit both children & adults living in the Cheddar area. By
filling in the form you will be giving them important information as to what
facilities/activities you would most like to see.
