A group of children from each of the linked schools and Hugh Sexey met at our school for a RE day based around the theme of Pilgrimage. First we visited St. Mary's Church East Brent, then we walked up to the top of The Knoll and had lunch. Next we walked down to St. Michael's Brent Knoll and looked around the church and saw a bat hanging from the roof of the porch. We then had to walk back to East Brent via The Knoll once more. We were exhausted but had a very interesting day and made some new friends. We had lots of stops and talked about what it was like to go on a special journey.
