Mr. Simmonds from the Avon and Somerset Search and Rescue Unit came to school to talk to the whole school about his work with the unit. They are highly trained and very well regarded for their expertise in saving lives from cliffs and hills. He showed us all the equipment he carried in his response vehicle and showed us how loud his siren was. This was a very interesting visit.
